- We were married in 2003 after Jan found the man of her dreams (Brian's version) or vice versa according to Jan's version. We were both born in the same year although Jan claims the coveted younger spot, but Brian is older and wiser - grayer too! We have two daughters and one son-in-law whom we sort of like along with numerous brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and a few stray cousins thrown into the mix. We are actively involved in our professional organizations and our church and enjoy a rousing lecture, polite political discussions, evenings out with friends, concerts, plays, and the occasional midday nap.
